The BOEM1-L L-Plate Set for Olympus OM-D E-M1 from Really Right Stuff is a modular design composed of an Arca-type compatible base plate and L-component that facilitates easier, more stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations when working atop a tripod.
The L-Plate maintains complete access to the battery door and the camera's ports. Both parts can be separated slightly, and retightened with the included hex key if more room is needed for your tethering or cable release. Because of Type II black anodizing, the plate itself is resistant to scuffs and scratches. Furthermore, there is no obstructing the camera's LCD monitor, and the plate has laser-engraved center marks on the back to align it on a tripod head.
