The SYNCO MMic-U3 is a directional microphone for iPhone®, Android, computer, and DSLR. It firmly connects to smartphones with the innovative magnet design. Featuring the interference tube technology and cardioid pickup pattern, it focuses on collecting the sound in the front of the microphone while eliminating the background noise, ideal for live stream, vlogging, and video conferencing.
The SYNCO U3 utilizes interference tube technology to enhance the directionality. The tube creates level interference on the capsule - it is the audio wave cancellation that eliminates most of the off-axis sound and affects no audio directly in front of the tube, hence making the mic well suited for interview, video conferencing and other live performances.
The directional microphone for streaming features magnetic absorption to get attached to metal surface firmly. It carries two reusable metal plates, allowing users to attach it to smartphones, phone cases or phone clamps. Additionally, the 1/4 screw provides a way for the connection to cameras.
The directional microphone for iPhone also connects to Android devices and cameras simply through the included Type-C to 3.5mm TRRS cable. It can automatically accommodate the TRS devices without an extra TRS cable. Meanwhile, it detects the connection status so as to switch on/off, conducing to less unnecessary power consumption.
(Note: ? Lightning or Type-C adapter may be required for some devices. Both are NOT included in the package. ? The auto-switch function is not available for iOS devices.)
The SYNCO U3 provides optional low cut at 75Hz and 150Hz, competent to cut down the unwanted low-frequency wind noise, breath noise, and vibration noise together with the high-density windshield. The stepless gain control at 0-15dB helps precisely amplify the microphone signal to an ideal level. All these features reduce the sound distortion and guarantee the clear sound output.
The 3.5mm monitoring jack can directly connect the earphone to the smartphone microphone, allowing the users to check the real-time signal pickup result and adjust the recording volume accordingly.
The rechargeable built-in Li-ion battery powers the single directional microphone for up to 40 hours (monitor at medium volume). When it is out of power, simply recharge it for another 40-hour play time with the high-speed Type-C charge port. It can get the device fully charged in approximately 2 hours.
