A high-performance wide-angle lens that focuses on easy handling for rangefinder cameras. By adopting the latest optical design and aspherical lens, it maintains the same optical performance as our VM mount lens ULTRON Vintage Line 28mm F2 Aspherical, while achieving extremely compact styling by suppressing the aperture F value to F2.8. I am. Type I has a highly hobbyist nostalgic appearance and uses brass material for the lens exterior.
Bayonet VM mount
The lens mount uses a VM mount that is compatible with the Leica M mount.
Compact & high performance
By using an aspherical lens, it exhibits excellent optical performance even when the aperture is wide open. The overall length of the product is 23.5mm (from the mount surface), which reduces vignetting of the shooting frame when using a rangefinder and provides good handling.
Two types of exterior to choose from
There are two types of exterior: silver and black paint. As for the black paint, even the mount part is finished in black *1, and the focus lock button, focus lever, and infinity/short distance stopper are nickel-plated to add an accent to the design.
Special hood included
A special aluminum screw-in hood and an aluminum cover-type front cap are included, taking into consideration not only light blocking performance but also design with the lens body. (The black paint type comes with a painted hood and front cap.)
Manual focus allows for reliable focusing
The use of an all-metal helicoid unit that has been machined and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that generates the appropriate torque provides focusing with a smooth operating feel. This allows for delicate focus adjustments.
Equipped with distance meter interlocking system
The high-precision rangefinder interlocking mechanism allows for precise focusing near the maximum aperture. The shortest shooting distance when linked to a rangefinder is 0.7m.

It has a generous image circle that is compatible with the full 35mm format. It also has a very compact style compared to interchangeable lenses for single-lens reflex cameras.
*1 If a mount with a black finish is used with a camera equipped with a system that reads the attached lens using a 6-bit code, the lens will not be recognized. Please use with lens detection set to OFF.
