Specification :
The MC-20 utilises the high quality of the master lens to double the focal length. When paired with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO, 2000mm (35mm equivalent) super-telephoto shooting is possible.
Combine the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO with the Teleconverter MC-20 to shoot at maximum image magnification of 1.43x. When paired with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm F4.0 IS PRO, the closest focusing distance is approximately 1.43 meters, and the maximum image magnification (35mm equivalent) is nearly actual size at 0.96x. On the M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F2.8 PRO, the closest focusing distance is approximately 73 cm, while the maximum image magnification (35mm equivalent) is 0.84x.
This lens configuration uses 9 elements in 4 groups, including an HR lens. While maintaining the high optical performance of the master lens, aberrations including chromatic aberration are suppressed.
ZERO coating (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical coating) is used on many lens elements to reduce ghosts and flares.
Fast AF lets you capture the right moment. There is virtually no drop in AF speed compared to using the master lens on its own when the MC-20 is attached.
Even when the MC-20 is attached, the powerful image stabilisation of both the camera body and master lens remain effective.
This design makes it possible to capture high-quality hand-held super-telephoto images.
M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO
Focal length equivalent to 1000 mm[1], 6 steps[2] ⇒ With MC-20 teleconverter the focal length equivalent is extended to
2000 mm[1], 5 steps[2]
M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm F4.0 IS PRO
Focal length equivalent to 600 mm[1], 6 steps [2] ⇒ With MC-20 teleconverter the focal length equivalent is extended to 1200 mm[1], 5 steps[2]
This 2x teleconverter features a compact, lightweight, 150-gram design. It is highly mobile, making it perfect for super-telephoto photography in any kind of scene.
The superb splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof design means that it can be used in even the most punishing shooting environments.
Rhythmic lines that take inspiration from the M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm F4.0 IS PRO master lens lend an integrated, sophisticated feel to the design.
