Exclusively designed for the PENTAX K-7 and the Pentax K5 camera bodies.  The Battery Grip D-BG4 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery or six AA-size batteries. Since it supplements the camera's battery as an additional power source you gain the ability to continue shooting for a longer period of time.  It also gives you a more comfortable handle on your camera when shooting vertical shots and places your shutter button and controls at your fingertips.
